- Maintain product assortment and manage cheese-related tasks.

Skills
- Completed sales training, preferably in food retail, with cheese expertise.
- Passion for cheese and regional specialties is essential.
- Fluent in German and conversational English for diverse customer interactions.

Your tasks:
• Advising and serving customers at our open fresh cheese counter as well as in our diverse range of regional products, specialty and gift items
• Maintaining the assortment, especially at the fresh counter when working with cheese (including production of in-house fondue mixes, checking incoming goods and expiration dates, as well as co-responsibility in ordering)
• Preparing cheese platters according to customer wishes
• Assembling presents and gift packages
• Maintaining the store infrastructure and participating in the seasonal and sales-technical changing store design
• Cash handling in sales including independent daily cash register accounting
What we expect and wish for:
• Completed training in sales, ideally in specialty food sales or food retail, preferably in the cheese/dairy sector
• Affinity for cheese, dairy products, regional foods/specialties
• Careful and clean handling of food, sales items, and store infrastructure
• Impeccable, friendly, and sales-oriented advice and service to customers
• Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays (fair distribution within the team)
• Commitment, teamwork, and reliability
• Native German speaker and English skills (communication)
• Enjoyment of people from all over the world, ideally with an affinity for tourism
• Connection to the Appenzellerland & Eastern Switzerland region
