Department Manager Turning Shop 100%

Your tasks

• Technical and personnel management of employees in the turning shop
• Ensuring on-time production with the required quality, target costs, and high productivity
• Planning capacities (personnel, machines) and continuously monitoring them
• Ensuring compliance with work, safety, and quality regulations
• Continuously improving processes and setup times (CIP)
• Working closely with planning, quality assurance, maintenance, and production management
• Training, promoting, and further developing employees
• Ensuring order, cleanliness, and 5S permanently

Your profile

• Leadership personality with assertiveness, organizational talent, and solution-oriented working style
• Completed vocational training as a polymechanic or comparable education
• Further education (e.g., technician HF, process specialist) or equivalent
• Several years of experience in machining, ideally in turning
• Team player, resilient, and responsible
• Good MS Office skills and experience with ERP systems
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form
