Department Manager Turning Shop 100%
Your tasks
- Technical and personnel management of employees in the turning shop
- Ensuring on-time production with the required quality, target costs, and high productivity
- Planning capacities (personnel, machines) and continuously monitoring them
- Ensuring compliance with work, safety, and quality regulations
- Continuously improving processes and setup times (CIP)
- Working closely with planning, quality assurance, maintenance, and production management
- Training, promoting, and further developing employees
- Ensuring order, cleanliness, and 5S permanently
Your profile
- Leadership personality with assertiveness, organizational talent, and solution-oriented working style
- Completed vocational training as a polymechanic or comparable education
- Further education (e.g., technician HF, process specialist) or equivalent
- Several years of experience in machining, ideally in turning
- Team player, resilient, and responsible
- Good MS Office skills and experience with ERP systems
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form
