Building services engineering keeps buildings running – heating, ventilation, sanitation and electrical systems provide the foundation for modern infrastructure. As a key account manager for building services engineering, you are the commercial contact for our most important customers in the region. With your network in the building services industry and your passion for sales, you actively contribute to further expanding our market position in the German-speaking part of Switzerland – and inspire our customers with solutions that really fit.
Responsibilities
- You look after our most important customers in the building services industry (sanitary, heating, ventilation and electrical installation companies) in your region and sustainably develop the cooperation at all levels
- You are the commercial contact at the head office – from management, project management and purchasing to warehouse and logistics – you actively develop all relevant contacts
- You identify product range potentials early and position our products and system solutions convincingly, you conduct price negotiations independently and negotiate framework agreements and conditions if necessary in coordination with our internal pricing department
- You develop customised process, logistics and warehouse solutions (ORSY, availability concepts, construction site logistics) and thus create sustainable added value for your customers
- As a central hub between customers, internal sales, our building services specialised engineering department and our project sales staff on construction sites, you ensure smooth, coordinated collaboration
- You actively acquire new decision-makers in the building services industry and specifically expand your existing network – especially at the level of project managers and department heads of executing companies
- In tandem with our sales engineer, you jointly develop the project managers of the executing companies – with the aim of positioning Würth early in projects, submitting offers and winning strategic products such as Varifix rails, pipe clamps and other system solutions on a project basis
Requirements
- You bring either several years of experience in sales or sound technical know-how from the building services industry (sanitary, heating, ventilation/air conditioning, electrical) – both are equally welcome, the decisive factor is that you know the industry and understand how construction projects and procurement processes work
- You have an existing network in the building services industry in the German-speaking part of Switzerland – whether from sales, project business or a technical function
- You like people as much as numbers and think entrepreneurially and solution-oriented
- You communicate confidently at all levels and convince decision-makers with your appearance, expertise and personality
- You work proactively, structured and independently and advance topics with your own initiative
- You bring humour, positivity and motivation and are keen to make a difference together with the team
- You have very good German language skills, both spoken and written
