Tasks

• Leading the System Engineering team: resource planning, employee discussions and qualifications, involvement in recruitments and planning the onboarding of new employees
• Planning, standardization, setup, operation and maintenance of the internal and external server infrastructure based on Debian Linux (Proxmox, Docker, Puppet, Ansible)
• Telemetry, providing data aggregation and evaluation, monitoring and alerting
• Continuous optimization of processes and delivered services
• Participation in product development
• Support of other teams in process automation
• Interdisciplinary project management and project participation
• On-call duty in rotation
• Supervision of the creation and maintenance of documentation
• Training of IT apprentices
• Ensuring and optimizing internal IT and its support

  Requirements

  • Work permit for Switzerland or EU
  • Completed training and several years of professional experience as a System Engineer
  • Several years of leadership experience in a comparable position
  • Very good knowledge in the Debian Linux environment, strong affinity for open source
  • German and English: very good oral and written skills
  • Other foreign languages welcome
  • Driver's license category B
