In this position, you will operate in various demanding areas of licensing and supervision of institutions in the fintech sector with a high degree of novelty and close to the pulse of regulatory and economic developments.
Main tasks
- Risk-based supervision of supervised persons according to Art. 1b BankG (fintech license) as well as DLT trading systems
- Coordination with other FINMA groups in the areas of supervision, audit, and digitization
- Technical responsibility in regulatory and policy projects, including drafting statements and representing externally
- Support in the licensing of institutions in the fintech sector
- Monitoring regulatory and economic developments at national and international levels as well as evaluating the need for action
Profile
- Completed studies in economics or law or further training as a certified public accountant (or comparable qualification)
- Several years of professional experience in supervisory auditing, auditing, and/or internal audit
- Affinity for digitization and preferably experience related to fintech business models
- Communicative and proactive personality with an independent working style, analytical skills, and competence to represent FINMA towards relevant stakeholders
- Very good German skills (C2) and English skills (C1), French or Italian skills (B1) are an advantage
