What is my role?
Our client is looking for a CNC specialist to take on the following tasks:
Programming, setup and operation of state-of-the-art 5-axis CNC machines for panel processing using CAM systems
Performing manual rework on workpieces if necessary due to process reasons
Organisation and control of workflows and material flow in the fully automated flat storage
Active participation in shaping an expanding CNC area with the opportunity to help define standards, workflows and processes
Taking responsibility for maintenance, servicing and overhaul of the equipment, including coordination of external service partners
Opportunity to take on main responsibility for specific workflows or machines in a superuser role
Committed participation in the continuous improvement process to optimise operational procedures
What do I need to be successful?
Successfully completed training as a polymechanic EFZ or a woodworking apprenticeship (e.g. carpenter, joiner) with a strong affinity for CNC and ideally some practical experience in the field
Strong digital skills and enthusiasm for working with CAM systems
High quality awareness regarding processing quality, surface condition and dimensional tolerances
Confident handling of IT applications (MS Office)
Physical resilience and high reliability
Good knowledge of the German language
Practical experience in operating forklifts and side loaders
Technical understanding and enjoyment of working with the latest machine technology
