Your tasks
You operate and monitor the technical plants for thermal waste treatment as well as for the generation of electricity and district heating
You carry out the start-up and shutdown processes of the plant components and implement lockout and safety measures
You perform immediate measures in case of emergencies and malfunctions
You support the technical staff in their tasks such as inspecting the entire plant during periodic rounds and performing lubrication and service work
Your background
You have training as a heating plant operator, power plant operator, or plant operator (mandatory) and bring process engineering knowledge
You have completed an apprenticeship in mechanical engineering (agricultural machinery mechanic, polymechanic, machine mechanic, electromechanic, or similar)
You have the energy and suitability for continuous shift work (3-shift operation over 24 hours)
You have a reliable and independent working style and good IT user skills
You are a team player and thrive in a dynamic environment because you see changes as an opportunity to advance yourself and the company
