To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Public Affairs Specialist.
Public Affairs Specialist 80–100% (m/f/d)
The following tasks await you with us:
- Promote and maintain dialogue with stakeholders in the area of influence of the deep repository project in the Zurich lowlands and Zwilag area (interim storage Würenlingen AG) to jointly advance the century project deep repository
- Further development of the political stakeholder network, associations, and other relevant actors in the site region Northern Lägern
- Develop and implement sustainable public affairs measures in the site region
- Write position papers and political briefings for internal stakeholders
- Support local stakeholders around the surface and measurement infrastructure
- Monitor political developments, analyze political trends
- Speaker activity / guide for tours on our visitor platforms
Your profile:
- Several years of professional experience in public affairs or similar areas
- Well versed in (energy-)political processes and topics around large and infrastructure projects in the Swiss political context
- Good political network is an advantage, ideally also in the Zurich lowlands
- Confident appearance, enjoyment in presenting to groups, enthusiastic, eager to learn, creative, and communicative
- Confident and approachable in dealing with stakeholders at all levels, conducts dialogues on equal footing, negotiation skills
- Self-initiated, reliable, solution-oriented and flexible, independent and a team player
- Fluent German, good French and English skills are an advantage
- (Technical) university degree and/or further education in political science, law, communication science, economics, public affairs, or a related field with large project reference
