Position Information
Start date: 1 February 2027
Contract duration: 1 year, renewable + 2 years, maximum 5 years
Work rate: 80%
Workplace: Lausanne-Dorigny Salary: CHF 66,528.- ( increasing each year )
Your Activities
- 50% of the work rate will be dedicated to carrying out personal research work (valorisation of the thesis, publications, contributions to conferences, project development, etc.);
- 50% of the work rate will be dedicated to supporting teaching tasks, organising and facilitating the scientific activities of the Gender Studies Centre.

Your Profile
We wish to recruit a person with the following profile:
- PhD in social sciences or equivalent degree;
- Research in the field of gender studies, with proven specialisation in intersectionality and racialisation processes;
- Experience in teaching and academic research in gender studies and ability to supervise young researchers;
- Having developed a gender perspective in their work and publications and pursuing a research agenda in this field of study;
- Proficiency in English and French;
- Experience and interest in organising and facilitating events and coordinating scientific collectives;
- Institutional and/or international mobility is an asset.

A graduate assistant who has obtained their doctorate at the University of Lausanne may be hired as a first assistant, provided there is an interruption including a one academic year stay at another university, regardless of the duration of their previous engagement (Implementation regulations of the law of 6 July 2004 on the University of Lausanne – article 63).
