About the job
The Groupe Gassmann is the bilingual media house of the region for Biel/Bienne, Seeland, Bernese Jura, Grenchen, Murten-Seeland district and the canton of Bern. It unites the four media types print, TV, radio and online under one roof and employs 150 staff.For the online platform ajour we are looking immediately for a person for a Social Media Internship ajour (100%) limited to 6 months, from October 2026 or by arrangement.
Your area of activity
– You process news stories from ajour/BT and video material from TeleBielingue when it is played on ajour, prepare it with Adobe Premiere Pro and publish the content via our digital channels
– You take care of social media management and are in contact with our community
– You inform and entertain the ajour community with the most important news in the form of news clips, Instagram stories and reels
– You actively contribute to topic finding in the editorial daily routine and work closely with the ajour editorial team
– You create reports and monitor the development of ajour's social media channels
Your ideal profile
– You have successfully completed your Matura or vocational training
– Your German skills in spoken and written form are confident
– You move confidently on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok and keep an eye on current social media trends
– You enjoy working creatively, contribute your own ideas for social media content and think both cross-channel and community-specific
– You not only further develop content from existing productions but also implement your own platform-specific ideas, thereby strengthening the cross-media presence and branding of our media
– You are an open, lively person and have an interest in daily news events, know ajour, the Biel/Seeland region and the canton and know what concerns them
– You work precisely, are organised and have a quick grasp
– Initiative and independent working are natural for you
– You have basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Pro
– You are willing to work irregular shifts on weekends or after hours
