The establishment has 240 acute care beds, a maternity ward with around 1,500 births per year, and nearly 30,000 emergency consultations. In total, more than 40 medical disciplines have been practised within its walls for over 150 years. We are looking for the Orthopaedics Department of Morges Hospital a:
Medical Secretary (M/F) at 80-100%
Permanent contract, start immediately or as agreed

YOU HAVE
- Training as a medical secretary, commercial employee CFC or equivalent qualification.
- At least two years of prior experience in a medical secretariat in Switzerland, combined with an excellent knowledge of medical terminology.
- Experience in orthopaedics is a serious asset.
- Recognised skills in the use of IT tools as well as excellent spelling.
- Flexibility and versatility to provide doctors with quality support in carrying out all the activities of a medical secretariat.
- A strong team spirit, autonomy and the desire to evolve in an environment promoting collegiality.
- Rigor, attention to detail and good priority management allowing you to cope with a constantly evolving activity.
- Good interpersonal skills enabling harmonious collaboration with the various medical and care professionals.
YOUR OBJECTIVES
- Ensure the reception and orientation of patients
- Manage telephone reception and appointment scheduling
- Coordinate documents for patients who are to undergo surgery.
- Manage billing of administrative acts.
- Follow up on all daily administrative tasks contributing to the smooth running of the institution such as managing emails and schedules.
- Be responsible for the preparation, follow-up and archiving of patients’ physical medical records
- Type, proofread and send medical reports and examination results to internal and external doctors within appropriate deadlines.
