Who are we?
The Fribourg Detention Centre brings together the penitentiary structures of the canton of Fribourg. It has the status of a public law entity and possesses legal personality. It is administratively attached to the Directorate of Security, Justice and Sport, under the high supervision of the State Council. The Centre ensures the custody, accommodation, care and treatment of the detainees entrusted to it and contributes to achieving the objectives assigned to the execution of custodial sentences and measures.

Your missions
- Management and leadership of the Workshops and Construction division as a member of the management of a large administrative unit
- Management and coordination of the Workshops, Craftsmen, Kitchen sections as well as the Planning and Property Management service
- Planning, coordination and monitoring of construction, transformation, maintenance and development projects of the EDFR infrastructures
- Strategic and operational management of the EDFR property portfolio, particularly regarding planning, maintenance, development and financial management
- Management and development of professional activities offered to detainees, with a view to social reintegration and professional reinsertion, in line with the sanction execution plan
- Development, planning and coordination of strategies, concepts, directives and projects in the fields of workshops and construction
Desired profile
- Tertiary education in construction or project management
- Continuing education in construction and/or project management
- Federal diploma as an expert in the management of custodial deprivation from the CSCSP, an asset
- Several years of leadership experience
- Experience in leadership, project management and strategy development
- Proficiency in IT tools relevant to the role
- Excellent organisational and analytical skills, strategic sense and decision-making ability
- Autonomous, committed, pragmatic personality with good adaptability and stress resistance
- Ability to work in networks, communication skills and ability to unite teams
- Very good knowledge of French and good knowledge of German
