The SONNHALDE in Grüningen (ZH) is a care and support center with 300 beds. Across 14 wards including care, support, and two protected areas, we accompany people with physical and psychological impairments in a home with individual, appreciative care.

The Technical Services at Sonnhalde is responsible for ensuring a functioning infrastructure in the 14 departments and the surrounding area. The Technical Services is integrated into the Hospitality & Logistics department and as Head of Technical Services you report directly to the department head.

• Completed vocational training with a federal certificate of competence in HVAC, electrician with manual skills (installer, carpenter, joiner) mandatory
• Several years of professional experience in technical services in a home/hospital is an advantage
• Extensive experience in telephone systems as well as nurse call systems
• Experience in technical, structural, and organizational areas
• Very good experience with PC and MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) (Visio & experience in building management desirable). Affinity for administrative tasks such as: obtaining quotes, maintaining statistics, creating key figures.
• Independent, reliable, and cost-conscious working style
• Experience in project management
• Experience in occupational safety - SIBE
• Driver's license category B, D1 desirable, very good German skills

• Professional and personnel management of the Technical Services team with 5 employees Work planning with time recording system Polypoint PEP. Conducting qualification interviews, conflict discussions, etc.
• Participation in daily business
• Ensuring compliance with technical standards, specifications, and accident prevention measures through continuous monitoring and control in the technical area.
• Support of the Hospitality & Logistics department head in major renovations and/or refurbishments, including administration
• Responsible for maintenance and upkeep of the infrastructure in and around the SONNHALDE site: technical systems (ventilation, heating, personal call, alarm systems, fire alarm system, locking systems)
• On-call duty readiness outside normal working hours (winter service, setup and dismantling at events, transport trips as needed for resident outings, etc.)
