Inspire students through the Malay language and culture within our dynamic Foreign Languages Programme (World Language Programme - WLP).

Your role and responsibilities:

• Teach Malay as a foreign language at the IB level (Language B).
• Regularly assess students’ progress and provide detailed reports to parents.
• Work closely with the secondary WLP programme coordinator and your department colleagues to support effective learning.
• Manage teaching resources efficiently to ensure a high-quality educational environment.

Profile sought:

You will thrive in this role if you have:

• Fluency in Malay (native speaker).
• Strong experience teaching Malay both as a foreign language and as a mother tongue.
• Experience teaching the IB programme or a strong willingness to become familiar with it.
• The ability to work effectively in French and/or English.
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.

Your personal qualities:

• A dynamic approach to teaching and the ability to inspire students through creative methods. Excellent interpersonal skills to maintain positive relationships with colleagues and parents.
• Previous experience in an international school environment is a considerable asset.
