OT Cyber Security Engineer - Industrial Security (m/f/d)

Your area of responsibility: You are responsible for the review and assessment of customer relationships, work closely with internal specialist departments, and ensure that all regulatory requirements are met. You develop security solutions for production, automation, and critical infrastructures and ensure that security functions under real operating conditions.
You examine OT networks, plants, and systems for risks and derive concrete protective measures.
You implement and optimise solutions such as industrial firewalls, network segmentation, secure remote access, monitoring, and detection.
You work closely with automation, engineering, IT, and customers and translate technical requirements into actionable security solutions.
You support security incidents, audits, and projects and contribute your expertise in standards, architecture, and security-by-design.
Qualifications:
You have a technical education or degree in computer science, cyber security, electrical engineering, automation, or a related field.
You have practical experience with OT/ICS environments or want to specifically transfer your existing IT security experience to the industrial world.
You are familiar with network and security technologies and ideally have already worked with industrial protocols or SCADA/PLC systems.
You are interested in standards such as IEC 62443, NIST, or ISO 27001 and want to continuously develop your professional skills.
You think in networks, enjoy working on technical challenges, and can communicate complex security topics clearly to customers and internal teams.
