About the job
Your tasks
- You will get to know the inpatient child and adolescent psychiatry as well as the social pedagogical field of work of the Department for Eating Disorders and Crisis Intervention
- You will accompany children and adolescents in everyday life and support them according to the milieu-therapeutic treatment concept
- You will take on initial key worker tasks and participate in the planning, implementation and evaluation of social pedagogical interventions
- You will take part in interprofessional reports, case discussions and core team meetings
- You will get to know the collaboration with relatives as well as internal and external specialist agencies
- You will gain insights into the areas of social work, especially network work, discharge planning and cooperation with schools, authorities and social insurance
- During the internship you will be accompanied by a qualified practical trainer. Regular practical training discussions support your professional and personal development
Your profile
- You are completing the Bachelor's degree programme in Social Work at a university of applied sciences and are looking for an internship place as part of your practical module
- You are interested in working with children and adolescents in a psychiatric context
- You approach people with appreciation, openness and empathy
- You have initiative, a sense of responsibility and a strong willingness to learn and reflect
- You enjoy working in an interprofessional team and actively contribute to the learning process
- Ideally, you have completed initial training or have some professional experience
