Your tasks
- Ensuring smooth operation of our production and operational facilities in the slaughterhouse
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues to minimise downtime and outages
- Maintenance, repair and continuous optimisation of the machinery and plant equipment
- Maintenance and implementation of the maintenance programme including accurate documentation on machines and equipment
- Active participation in projects for the procurement of new equipment and machinery as well as installations, conversions and other technical projects
- Management of spare parts including demand planning and reordering
- Coordination and collaboration with external specialists and service providers
Your profile
- Completed technical basic training in mechanics, automation, electrical engineering or a comparable field
- Initial professional experience in maintenance is an advantage
- Independent and solution-oriented working style with strong teamwork skills
- Resilience and the ability to keep a cool head even in demanding situations
- No sensitivity to blood and strong odours
- Willingness for irregular work assignments (two-shift operation and on-call duties)
- Confident knowledge of MS Office programmes
- Good German language skills, spoken and written
