On behalf of one of our clients based in the canton of Vaud, we are looking for a Sales Director (M/F):
Your future responsibilities:
- You will define and deploy the sales strategy to develop turnover, margins and market shares.
- You will develop and retain the client portfolio and maintain lasting relationships with clients, design offices and partners.
- You will identify new business opportunities and ensure active market monitoring.
- You will prepare cost estimates and offers for electrical panels and automation projects and manage tenders until their submission.
- You will negotiate offers with clients and suppliers and ensure the monitoring of costs and margins.
- You will structure sales follow-up using CRM, reporting and key performance indicators.
- You will recruit, supervise and support the sales team in achieving its objectives.
- You will work closely with technical teams and production to ensure alignment between client needs and company capabilities.
- You will ensure financial monitoring of the activity, including turnover, budgets and key indicators.
- You will contribute to the overall management of the company and ensure the smooth running of its internal organisation.
Your profile:
- You hold a higher technical education in electrotechnics, automation, electrical engineering or an equivalent field.
- You have proven experience of 5 to 7 years in B2B business development with a strong technical-commercial dimension.
- You ideally know the field of electrical panels, automation or industry.
- You master cost estimation, cost calculations as well as public and private tender procedures.
- You have good skills in margin management, budgets and financial indicators.
- You have experience in team management and coordination.
- You are a unifying leader and comfortable in an SME environment.
- You are analytical, pragmatic and results- and solution-oriented.
- You demonstrate autonomy, initiative, rigour and a strong sense of responsibility.
- You possess excellent interpersonal skills and know how to manage several files simultaneously.
