METAL FABRICATOR

1. Preparatory Work

• Read and interpret technical plans, diagrams and assembly instructions.

• Prepare metal materials (beams, profiles, plates, tubes) and check their conformity.

• Check supports and foundations before assembly (pads, floors, existing structures).

• Install the necessary protections on site to ensure safety and prevent damage.

?? 2. Fabrication and Assembly

• Cut, drill, weld or assemble metal elements according to plans.

• Carry out mechanical and welded assemblies compliant with Swiss standards.

• Assemble metal structures: frameworks, stairs, walkways, guardrails, modular structures.

• Adapt elements to site constraints (angles, dimensions, existing supports).

?? 3. Finishing and Checks

• Check the flatness, alignment and stability of structures.

• Perform finishes: grinding, sanding, painting, anti-corrosion treatment.

• Install additional elements (skirting boards, plates, technical supports).

• Verify compliance with safety standards and execution plans.

?? 4. Maintenance and Troubleshooting

• Remove and replace damaged or worn elements.

• Repair existing metal structures on buildings or industrial installations.

• Adapt new installations to Swiss standards (SIA, SEV, Suva) and site constraints.
