Automation Technician 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

• First point of contact for customers regarding technical questions about systems and applications

• Error diagnosis and problem solving by telephone as well as through analysis of machine data

• Handling service requests from quotation preparation to invoicing

• Coordination of complex diagnoses with responsible specialist departments within the company

• Planning and management of service deployments

• Conducting internal and customer-specific training at the site, at the customer or at branches

• Development and updating of service documents, work instructions and databases

• Commissioning of systems and associated equipment

What do I need to be successful?

• Completed vocational training as a mechatronics technician, automation technician or a comparable qualification

• Professional experience in the service sector is an advantage

• Methodical and analytical approach to fault finding and troubleshooting

• Willingness to travel domestically and abroad (approx. 5% in Europe)

• Confident German and English skills, both spoken and written

• Solid PC skills (MS Office applications)

• Strong customer orientation and independent working style

• Organisational talent and flexibility even in demanding situations

• Team spirit and commitment to a positive working atmosphere
