- Check, calculate, and manage claims for additional benefits for AHV/IV and bridging benefits for older unemployed individuals
- Independent case management (conducting periodic reviews, mutations, reimbursements from estates)
- Check and settle health and disability costs
- Process and draft decisions in appeal, waiver, complaint, and criminal proceedings
- Advise pension recipients and their relatives and provide information
- Assist with administrative tasks such as quarterly closings
- Professional and organizational representation of the department head in her absence
You bring
- Completed commercial training, preferably in a public administration
- Experience in the field of additional benefits or in-depth knowledge in social insurance
- Professional certificate for social insurance specialists or willingness to obtain it
- Ability to think analytically and networked
- Independent and precise working style
- Resilient and team-oriented personality
- Enjoyment in dealing with legal provisions and their application
- Confident written expression and numerical understanding

The department for additional benefits for AHV/IV, consisting of four employees, is part of the Social and Society department. It ensures that AHV and IV pension beneficiaries in modest circumstances have an adequate minimum income. Due to the upcoming retirement of a long-standing employee, we are looking for qualified reinforcement for our team starting November 1, 2025.
