AES Site Manager (Six-Month Fixed-Term Contract)

After-School Care Manager at 80%

within the Department of Childhood, Schools and Social Cohesion, After-School Care Sector

Fixed-term contract for a duration of six months

Your Responsibilities

• Organise and supervise a 60-place care facility and ensure its smooth operation
• Coordinate, lead and support the management team composed of around ten people
• Ensure the well-being and safety of the children and contribute to the continuous improvement of their care
• Manage the care facility’s budget (human and material resources)
• Establish and maintain good relationships with parents and other partners
• Adopt a comprehensive vision of the City’s care facilities and actively participate in reflections and projects to improve practices
• Accompany the children on the playground

Your Profile

• Higher education in childhood studies with additional training in team management or a Federal VET Diploma as a Social Care Worker complemented by a federal diploma in social institution management or equivalent training
• Proven professional experience in caring for children aged 4 to 12 years
• Experience in team leadership
• Professional trainer certification is an advantage
• Sense of responsibility, ability to work independently and as part of a team, reflective skills, stress resistance and empathy
• Good communication skills and conflict management abilities
• Fluency in French; good knowledge of German is an asset
• Work over five days
