The Forest Region 3 Sargans manages the forests in the St. Gallen highlands and ensures the preservation of forest functions. In the diverse forests, the focus of forestry activities lies in protective forest management. Organisationally, the forest region is divided into three subregions, each managed by a team of foresters.
