As a plastics engineer, you are significantly involved in the development, optimisation and implementation of new plastic processing technologies. You drive innovation projects forward, conduct trials in our state-of-the-art injection moulding technical centre and advise customers as well as internal departments on the optimal processing of our special polyamides. With your profound expertise in injection moulding technology, materials science and process engineering, you create pioneering solutions and actively contribute to technological advancement.
Responsibilities:
Technology Development & Innovation: Research and evaluation of new processing technologies to improve quality, efficiency and sustainability in plastic processing
Process Optimisation: Conducting trials, sampling and analyses to further develop injection moulding processes and identify new potentials in material and process development
Plant Management & Procurement: Selection, evaluation and procurement of new technical centre equipment for continuous modernisation of the machinery park
Customer Consulting & Technical Support: Support and advice for customers and internal sales organisations regarding the optimal processing of our high-performance polymers
Project Work & Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Close cooperation with research & development, production, material analytics, marketing and sales to bring innovative plastic solutions to market readiness
Quality Assurance & Process Control: Development of testing methods to ensure the high processing quality of our special materials
Qualifications:
Professional Education: Completed degree in plastics engineering, materials science, mechanical engineering or a related field
Injection Moulding Expertise: Solid experience in injection moulding processing, tool design and process optimisation for high-performance plastics
Analytical & Entrepreneurial Thinking: Ability to develop innovative technical solutions, decisiveness and a strong goal orientation
Project Management Experience: Structured working style with experience in leading and implementing technology-related projects
Initiative & Flexibility: High commitment, openness to new challenges and ability to quickly familiarise with new technologies
Communication Skills & Teamwork: Confident interaction with internal and external contacts and enjoyment of working in interdisciplinary teams
Language Skills: Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form, French advantageous
