Specialist Physician in Oncology 60–100 %
Your tasks – our position
- Independent management of oncology consultations and treatments in the premises of the Hospital Centre at MEDIN Biel
- Participation in and moderation/conduction of the interdisciplinary tumour board
- Collaboration and maintenance of good relations with referring physicians
- Participation in the training of assistant doctors and nursing staff
- Commitment to a continuous optimisation process of collaboration and procedures
- Participation in the consultative follow-up of hospitalised patients
Your skills – our expectations
- Specialist title in oncology or equivalent recognised by MEBEKO, or near completion of specialised postgraduate training
- Respectful, solution-oriented and integrative personality, with interest in interdisciplinary collaboration and good communication skills
- Sense of quality, with a focus on safe, efficient and resource-saving processes
- Commitment to postgraduate and continuing education of the next generation in oncology (doctors and nursing staff)
- Fluency in German or French at native level, with knowledge of the other language
- Experience in a Swiss hospital or good knowledge of the Swiss healthcare system is an advantage
