Health Assistant (F/M/D) On a 6-month fixed-term contract between 60% and 80% - EPSM La Colombière

The Saphir Foundation, a multi-mission and multi-site foundation (psychogeriatrics, geriatrics, adult psychiatry), is active in the medico-social field in the canton of Vaud and in the reception and support of people weakened in their physical and mental integrity during their life process.

To complete our support team, we are looking for the following profile for our establishment in Hermenches, which accommodates 15 people and specialises in adult psychiatry:

Whatever their role, the professionals of the Saphir Foundation share a common will, that of supporting people daily to enable them to concretely experience the institutional service strategy "like at home". That is to say, to preserve their habits as much as possible, to offer a response adapted to their wishes and, through genuine interprofessional collaboration, to enable the well-being and happiness of the people.

Within our establishment, you support adults with mental disorders, taking into account their needs, resources and support plan. You contribute to creating a safe, stimulating and caring environment, promoting their autonomy, participation and quality of life.

As part of individualised support, this position is dedicated to the follow-up of a person with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) as well as a mild intellectual disability. You actively participate in their reception, integration and daily support. You ensure the establishment of reassuring landmarks, support their autonomy and promote their well-being, in close collaboration with the interprofessional team.

As a health assistant, you apply the support measures defined in the individualised plan, observe the needs and changes of the person, communicate relevant information to the team and contribute to the continuity of support.

YOUR BACKGROUND - YOUR QUALITIES AND SKILLS

• You hold a CRS Health Assistant certificate or an equivalent qualification.

• You have experience in supporting people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

• You show a strong interest in supporting people living with mental disorders in adult psychiatry.

• You demonstrate empathy, patience and an attitude centred on the needs and resources of the person.

• You enjoy teamwork and communicate appropriately.

• You are flexible, organised and able to adapt to varied situations.

• You are proficient in French (spoken and written) as well as common IT tools.

• You hold a valid driving licence.
