Join our pioneering team in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, and play a leading role in developing the next generation of IoT wireless solutions. We’re seeking an experienced Senior RF Design Engineer with deep expertise in CMOS IC design and RF system architecture. This position offers the opportunity to contribute at both the block and system level, shaping advanced RF technologies from concept through to product.
What You’ll Do
- Drive the design, simulation, and optimization of RF front ends (approx. 40%).
- Participate in RF architecture definition for receivers, transmitters, frequency synthesizers, and building blocks such as LNAs, mixers, filters, PAs, and VCOs.
- Extract S-parameter models for packages and PCBs (approx. 15%).
- Develop and optimize matching networks to comply with multiple regional regulations (approx. 15%).
- Simulate and measure radio performance and compliance (approx. 30%).
- Optimize application PCBs to ensure robust performance.
(Percentages vary depending on project phase.)
What We’re Looking For
- Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering (PhD preferred).
- 7+ years’ experience in the semiconductor industry (12+ years for PhD-qualified candidates).
- Proven expertise in:
- LNAs, mixers, filters
- Power amplifiers (sub-GHz and 2.4GHz)
- Matching network development for Rx/Tx
- Experience with EM simulation tools (HFSS, EMX).
- Strong grasp of system-level interactions between RF blocks in advanced radio chips.
- Innovative, self-motivated, and a collaborative team player.
- Excellent communication skills in English (French is a plus).
