About the job

Mediamatiker EFZ

At the City of Winterthur, you can expect a versatile training in the world of media, communication, design and ICT. You are creative, digitally savvy and eager to create content that others really see? Then the training as a Mediamatiker EFZ suits you well. You will complete your first year of apprenticeship in the basic apprenticeship year at the Zurich Apprenticeship Association ZLI. Afterwards, you will gain practical experience in various departments of the City of Winterthur, such as in the communication of city buses as well as elderly care and nursing.

Your Tasks

Create content for social media (texts, images, videos)
Design flyers, brochures, invitations, presentations and content for campaigns
Create and edit photos, illustrations, graphics and videos with appropriate programmes
Create and maintain content for websites, intranet and internal magazines
Participate in events, projects and other communication tasks

Your Profile

At least secondary level A with good performance
Interest in technology, design and communication
Enjoy organising, writing and creative work
Reliable and focused working style
Enjoy working with others
Residence: Winterthur or surrounding community
