Baar is an attractive municipality in Zug with around 25,000 inhabitants.

For our cemeteries in Baar and Allenwinden, we are looking for a committed individual as Team Leader Cemeteries starting April 2027 or by arrangement.

What you can achieve

• Independent planning, organisation and coordination of all maintenance and care work at the cemetery facilities in Baar and Allenwinden
• Professional and personnel management of the assigned employees
• Ensuring a well-kept, dignified and inviting appearance of the cemetery facilities
• Care and maintenance of green areas, lawns, trees, shrubs and paths
• Preparation of gravesites as well as assistance with funerals and interments
• Empathetic, respectful and discreet interaction with relatives and mourners
• Coordination and collaboration with funeral services, authorities and other parties involved
• Responsibility for the proper use and maintenance of machines, equipment and vehicles
• Ensuring occupational safety and compliance with applicable regulations
   

What you bring with you

• Completed vocational training as a landscape gardener EFZ or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in garden and landscape maintenance, ideally with leadership experience
• Strong ability for independent work organisation, forward-looking planning and prioritisation
• High sense of responsibility, reliability and a structured way of working
• Empathy, discretion and a dignified approach to relatives, especially in emotionally challenging situations
• Willingness to actively participate in funerals and interments
• Physical resilience and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Willingness to work Saturday mornings
• Good PC user skills
• Driving licence category B
• Residence preferably in Baar or the surrounding area
