The Wysshölzli Clinic is a leading psychiatric and psychotherapeutic specialist clinic for women with addiction disorders and eating disorders. Our main location in Oberaargau, Canton Bern, in a quiet setting, impresses with beautiful nature and proximity to Bern and Olten.

The clinic offers 37 inpatient treatment places and two outpatient clinics. Referrals come from all cantons of the German-speaking part of Switzerland, and patients are admitted on a planned basis.

We are looking for a:

Psychologist / Psychotherapist 60 %

Your tasks

• With your psychotherapeutic work in individual and group settings, you make a valuable contribution and offer our patients a safe space to further develop their strengths.
• You take on therapy planning and case management. Our patients are often in inpatient treatment with us for several months.
• You are in intensive exchange with the team of psychologists. Interdisciplinary collaboration and regular involvement of relatives are a matter of course for us.
• Our varied and exciting work is complemented by psychotherapy with outpatient patients and conducting preliminary interviews for indication assessment.
• You document disease courses and write reports.

Your profile

• You have great enthusiasm for in-depth psychotherapeutic work, mostly with young women and their relatives.
• You have completed or are well advanced in psychotherapy training.
• You have several years of clinical experience, preferably with eating disorders or addiction disorders.
• With your networked thinking and ideas, you contribute to the continuous development of our therapy programme.
• Your open, straightforward, and collegial manner fits well with our lively team.
• You are resilient and enjoy independent and interdisciplinary work.
