The Paul Scherrer Institute PSI is the largest research institute for natural and engineering sciences in Switzerland. For the Instrument Mechanics group, we are looking for a
Your tasks
- Development and design of neutron and muon instruments
- Coordination and management of design projects as well as participation in technical subprojects
- Strength and process design of machines and equipment
- Conducting technical studies, evaluations, and development work
- Leading technical negotiations and meetings
- Creating technical drawings and documentation, maintaining models of our instruments and equipment in CAD
- Experience with 3D Experience (CATIA) is an advantage
Your profile
- Completed technical school or university degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent qualification
- Experience in design is an advantage
- Independent, structured working style and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
- Very good German and good English skills
