Automation Technician for Electromechanical Repairs on Locomotives

• Carry out electrical and electronic repairs as well as maintenance on locomotives at various locations
• Locate and rectify faults and malfunctions using technical documentation and diagnostic systems
• Create work reports and prepare electrotechnical documentation
• Document technical changes to machines and update schematics
• Assemble, test and overhaul electrical components and modules according to technical specifications

• Completed vocational training as an automation technician, electrical fitter, mechatronics technician or electromechanical technician
• Solid experience in electromechanical repair and service work
• Knowledge in creating and adapting electrical schematics, ideally with EPLAN and ELCAD
• Willingness to work flexible hours and on demand
• Valid category B driving licence and confident IT user skills, especially MS Office
