The Cantonal Social Office (KSA), which is responsible in the Canton of Fribourg in particular for the supervision, coordination and harmonisation of the social assistance system (SHG), is seeking an inspector for the regional social services in this area as of 1 January 2027 or by arrangement. The workload is 60-70%. The duties of this position include the implementation and monitoring of the Social Assistance Act (SHG). Your tasks
- Introduction and support of supervisory tasks regarding the organisation and functioning of the regional social services responsible for implementing the Social Assistance Act (SHG)
- Definition of monitoring of the social assistance system, statistical indicators and control dashboards as well as dissemination and analysis of results
- Development of quality criteria for services and verification of their application
- Support for regional social services and social commissions in adapting processes, implementing general measures for information and training of professionals, and organising procedures
- Participation in the development of the social assistance system
Desired profile
- Master's degree in social work or equivalent qualification with several years of professional experience
- Solid knowledge in the field of organisation
- Excellent knowledge of social security and the organisation of the cantonal social system
- Enjoyment in dealing with administrations, communicative and interest in social issues
- Dynamic and versatile personality, precise working method and a flair for numbers, organisational and coordination talent, team player
- Good knowledge of common computer applications
- Fluency in German or French with very good knowledge of the other language
