Deputy Youth Prosecutor 100%The five regional youth prosecution offices investigate and assess offences committed by young people between the ages of ten and eighteen. They conduct criminal investigations and are responsible for the enforcement of juvenile criminal law protective measures and penalties.
For the Youth Prosecution Office Winterthur, we are looking for a committed and juvenile criminal law interested lawyer as Deputy Youth Prosecutor 100%, starting 1 January 2027 or by arrangement.
These tasks await you:
- You conduct and complete criminal investigations against juveniles with limited investigative authority.
- You process cases in juvenile criminal law enforcement and measures in support of the regular youth prosecutors and social workers of the office.
This is what distinguishes you:
- You have a university degree in law and an interest in criminal/juvenile criminal law.
- You have at least two years of relevant professional experience as a lawyer, e.g. at court, in criminal prosecution or a related field.
- It is advantageous if you have already obtained the lawyer's licence.
- You are a confident personality and stand out through your strong communication skills and initiative.
- You actively contribute to a good team culture, enjoy interdisciplinary collaboration and know how to approach even critical issues constructively.
- You have a positive view of people and an interest in socio-political issues.
