Cantonal Architect, Head of Service

- The Buildings Service is responsible for managing the administrative real estate assets of the State. It ensures maintenance, upkeep, and renovation or reorganization work. As a representative of the Project Owner (MO), you actively participate in the planning and execution of new constructions or large-scale transformations.
- Reporting to the head of the Department of Health, Youth, and Sports (DSJS), you lead a service of more than 120 collaborators in a demanding economic, political, and environmental context. You play a central role in the strategic direction of the service, the implementation of new constructions, and the management of large-scale projects. You also represent the State in various steering committees for interdepartmental and interservice projects. Ensuring the quality of the service's offerings, you unite the teams around a clear vision to address current challenges, particularly in terms of sustainability, energy performance, and innovation.
- As a qualified architect (master EPF/HE/REG A), you have confirmed experience in business management and leading complex projects. Additional training, such as an MBA, is considered an asset. You enjoy rallying around meaningful projects, fostering collective dynamics, and supporting change. Your global vision is based on a solid capacity for analysis and synthesis, combined with a strong ability to devise innovative solutions to multidisciplinary issues. You know how to mobilize, persuade, and negotiate with ease, whether within your teams or in interaction with numerous institutional, political, or associative partners. Finally, you demonstrate great resilience to stress, a good general culture, and a marked interest in public service issues.
