About the job
In this versatile position, you will work on the development and optimisation of technical products and solutions from the initial idea to series production maturity. You will accompany projects throughout the entire development process, contribute your technical expertise, and work closely with internal departments as well as external partners. In doing so, you take responsibility for constructive solutions, technical designs, and the continuous further development of existing products.
- Development of economically and technically optimised solution concepts
- Conducting analyses, calculations, and system designs as a basis for development
- Design of central components as well as overall responsibility for the technical system architecture
- Dimensioning and design of the overall system in collaboration with specialists in drive and control technology
- Creation of system models and handover of results to the design department
- Professional support and assistance of assigned designers in the development process
- Ensuring compliance with design and development guidelines as well as approval of manufacturing documents
- Preparation, documentation, and presentation of results to internal departments and customers
- Several years of experience in the development and design of mechatronic systems, ideally in an international environment
- Very good knowledge in the use of FEM methods, especially for vibration, strength, and thermal analyses
- Confident handling of CAD systems, preferably Inventor, for concept development and modelling
- User knowledge of SAP S/4HANA as well as very good MS Office skills
- Assertive, responsible personality with a strong team orientation
- Fluent German skills as well as good English skills in spoken and written form

Tasks
- Preparation of technical specifications in close coordination with project management and customers- Development of economically and technically optimised solution concepts

Profile
- Completed studies as a mechanical engineer HF/FH/ETH or a comparable technical education- Several years of experience in the development and design of mechatronic systems, ideally in an international environment
- Very good knowledge in the use of FEM methods, especially for vibration, strength, and thermal analyses
- Confident handling of CAD systems, preferably Inventor, for concept development and modelling
- User knowledge of SAP S/4HANA as well as very good MS Office skills
