THE SCHOOL
Collège du Léman is one of Switzerland’s most prestigious international schools, located on the shores of Lake Geneva with views of the Swiss Alps. With a focus on academic excellence, the school brings together a vibrant community of 1,800 students from more than 120 nationalities, including 280 boarding students, creating a uniquely international learning environment.
Collège du Léman is distinguished by the breadth and depth of its academic offering, providing one of the widest ranges of internationally recognised diplomas available at any school in Switzerland, including the International Baccalaureate Diploma and Career-related Programmes, the American High School Diploma with Advanced Placement, the French Baccalauréat, and the Swiss Maturité, alongside comprehensive English, French, and bilingual pathways. This exceptional academic ecosystem, combined with a strong Francophone environment within an international context, enables a culture of ambition and personalised excellence, where students are supported to pursue pathways aligned with their strengths, aspirations, and future goals.
What makes Collège du Léman particularly distinctive is the rare combination of this academic breadth with a dynamic day and boarding community, creating an educational experience that extends well beyond the classroom. Situated in Geneva, one of the world’s most international cities, the school offers a unique intersection of global perspectives and strong local Swiss and Francophone connections. Guided by its vision to empower students to harness differences and change the world for the better, the school fosters a culture of belonging, curiosity, and international mindedness that prepares young people to thrive in an increasingly complex world.
As part of the Nord Anglia Education family, the school benefits from both global reach and local impact. Collaborations with leading institutions such as Juilliard, MIT, UNICEF and King’s College London, together with access to Nord Anglia’s Global Campus, create exceptional opportunities for students and staff and further enrich the educational experience.
The school is accredited by leading international organisations, including the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), and has been an International Baccalaureate World School since 2005.
