Our Opportunity
Within our Purchasing team, based in Neuchâtel, we are looking for a:
Reporting directly to the Purchasing Manager, you will implement the purchasing strategy, ensuring that the supply of materials and services across indirect purchasing categories fully complies with Bulgari's standards and CSR requirements. Your actions will be guided by a strong focus on quality, innovation, time-to-market, and profitability.
As a Strategic Purchaser, you contribute to projects aimed at enhancing the indirect purchasing process by developing and sharing reliable, efficient reporting tools that support our continuous improvement efforts in both processes and organization. You regularly track and analyze spending within your purchasing category, comparing actual costs to budget, ensuring the effective implementation of the purchasing strategy. Additionally, you propose tactical actions to optimize supplier portfolio management and support the sustainable sourcing strategy.
Through your network and ongoing communication with Bulgari and LVMH colleagues, you stay informed about new regulations (legal, ethical, environmental) and industry guidelines. You monitor compliance across the supplier portfolio, ensuring full adherence to these standards while mapping common suppliers.
To safeguard business continuity, you identify risks related to supplier production capacities and propose relevant contingency plans and solutions. In alignment with Supply team needs, you oversee the bidding phase and ensure the successful implementation of selected solutions, including contract negotiation.
Your Background
Holder of a master’s degree in Purchasing or Supply Chain, you have at least 5 years’ experience in Strategic Purchasing. You have strong knowledge of purchasing processes and contract management and are exposed to supply chain and production processes and system.
Results-driven, you are recognized for your strong data-crunching and analytical skills. Proactive with an entrepreneurial mindset, you focus on operational excellence and enhance processes by implementing new tools. Highly customer-oriented with a keen sensitivity to products, you are committed to meeting the expectations and requirements of your internal clients in terms of quality and timing. Rigorous and action-oriented, you excel at multitasking effectively. A true team player, you are known for your reliability and ability to deliver. Your strong communication and negotiation skills enable you to build excellent relationships with both your team and suppliers.
Finally, you are fluent in French and English and have excellent command in Excel (macros and VBA ideally) and SAP. Please note that a driver’s license is required.
