About the job
Your Tasks
- You will take on the role in the operating theatre as an independent surgeon for hand surgery emergencies and the entire elective spectrum of hand surgery. For complex instructional procedures, the clinic management is available to you depending on your level of training (replantation, peripheral nerve surgery, microsurgery).
- You will care for outpatient and inpatient patients.
- Together with a junior doctor, you will cover on-call duties at weekends and nights.
- Together with the senior physicians and consultants, you are responsible for the supervision and training of our junior doctors.
Your Profile
- You have completed specialist training (with MEBEKO recognition) or are about to complete the Swiss specialist qualification in hand surgery.
- Passed the FESSH exam or are close to completing it.
- You have very good knowledge of German.
- You are characterised by strong teamwork skills, resilience, social competence, good communication skills, and a willingness to take responsibility.
