We are looking for a committed and professionally competent environmental specialist who strengthens our commitment to a safe, healthy, and sustainable working environment.
In this central role, you will be responsible for initiatives to protect our employees, ensure compliance with relevant regulations, and promote a proactive safety and environmental culture throughout the company.
What you can achieve
Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations as well as internal policies
Conduct risk, hazard, and environmental analyses including deriving measures
Plan and conduct internal audits, inspections, and environmental controls
Investigate accidents and incidents and develop preventive measures
Participate in sustainability and environmental projects and promote the environmental culture
Create and deliver training on environmental and safety-related topics
Advise and support managers and project teams on HSE issues
Collaborate with authorities, auditors, and external partners
What you bring with you
Degree in environmental sciences, environmental engineering, occupational safety, or a comparable technical/scientific field (FH/University)
Several years of professional experience in HSE or environmental areas, ideally in industry, production, or technical organisations
Sound knowledge of Swiss occupational safety and environmental legislation, including relevant ordinances (e.g. Major Accident Ordinance, Chemicals Law, Environmental Protection Law)
Experience in conducting risk analyses, hazard assessments, as well as accident and incident investigations, including deriving measures
Practical experience in planning, conducting, and follow-up of audits, inspections, and internal walkthroughs, ideally according to ISO 14001 / ISO 45001
Strong communication and advisory skills to support managers, project leaders, and employees in HSE matters
Ability to create and deliver training on occupational safety, environment, and sustainability, as well as analytical skills and experience in handling HSE key figures, reporting, and continuous improvement
Very good German skills as well as good English skills, additional national languages are an advantage
