Apprenticeship for Care Specialist EFZ specialising in People with Disabilities

At visoparents, we create spaces where children with and without disabilities can grow, learn, and feel comfortable. To achieve this, we need people who think ahead, take responsibility, and reliably organise everyday life.

The Special Education Day School of the visoparents Foundation is a Type B special school recognised by the Education Directorate of the Canton of Zurich. We educate children and young people of all school levels with severe multiple disabilities.

We offer an apprenticeship at our day school in Oerlikon starting 1 August 2027.

• You will learn to care for, accompany, and support the development of children with and without disabilities
• Together with the team, you actively shape the children’s daily lives and support them in various life situations
• Household tasks are also part of your training routine and give you insights into organising group daily life
• Step by step, you will learn about nursing support and accompaniment of children and gradually take on more responsibility

• A secondary school leaving certificate at level A or B
• Interest in working with children and young people with multiple disabilities
• Empathy as well as a respectful and appreciative attitude towards others
• Enjoyment in taking responsibility, combined with a reliable working style
