Central Office for Language Services
From A like "Amharic" to Z like "Zaza" – the specialist group/central office for language services located at the High Court is responsible for quality assurance of around 460 interpreters, 150 translators, and 70 language mediators in communication monitoring, who work on a contractual basis for the Canton of Zurich. The Central Office for Language Services acts as a hub and contact point for various authorities and courts as well as the language service providers.
For the Central Office for Language Services at the High Court of the Canton of Zurich, we are looking for a
(Personal) Assistant (70-80%)
Your area of responsibility
- Independent administrative support of the central office management
- Supervision of accreditation procedures for language service providers
- Organization and implementation of cantonal and inter-cantonal admission courses, exams, and further training
- Providing telephone and written information for authorities, courts, and language service providers
- Participation in projects
- Support in exam and course supervision on site
Your profile
- Good SAP knowledge
- Experience in cantonal personnel administration
- Very good knowledge of common Office programs
- Ideally experience with Zurich courts or in cantonal administration
- Very good oral and written communication skills
- High service orientation, trustworthiness, and initiative
- Precise, efficient, and structured working style
- Quick comprehension and enjoyment of varied tasks
- Resilience and a sense of humor for a sometimes hectic workday
