About the job
What you will do here
- Independently handle exciting R&D projects as a scientific assistant or employee in collaboration with key project partners such as institutions, companies or associations
- Work on research mandates and service contracts within the scope of the Timber Structures specialist group at the Institute of Timber Construction
- Support teaching in the Bachelor and Master programmes as well as in continuing education at the Department of Architecture, Timber and Civil Engineering in the field of timber engineering
What you ideally bring with you
- University degree in timber engineering, wood technology or civil engineering, each with a specialisation in timber construction
- Initial (scientific assistant) or several years (scientific employee) of non-academic practical experience in timber engineering
- Motivation to strengthen timber construction through research and development
- Reliability and curiosity, communication and teamwork skills
- Good editorial skills, confident expression
