Specialist in Facility Maintenance – Head of Cleaning Department
Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for the management and strategic development of the cleaning department
- Planning, controlling, and monitoring of budget, finances, and investments
- Design and implementation of innovative cleaning services for private and public clients
- Acquisition of new customers, maintenance of existing customer relationships, and sustainable expansion of the customer base
- Leadership, development, and promotion of employees including personnel planning and strategic recruitment
- Conducting contract negotiations and coordinating collaboration with partners, service providers, and suppliers
- Ensuring efficient processes, continuous process optimization, and compliance with quality standards
- Leading audits and ensuring compliance with legal and contractual standards
Requirements
- Many years of leadership experience (at least 5 years) in managing larger teams and operational structures
- Several years in a senior position in facility cleaning
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset with proven success in expanding business areas and customer portfolios
- Resilient, assertive personality with high decision-making and implementation competence in a dynamic environment
- Very good knowledge of budget planning, cost accounting, and continuous process improvement
- Communicative leadership personality with strong team understanding and role model function
- Fluent German skills in spoken and written form; additional language skills (Italian, Spanish, or Portuguese) are an advantage
- Confident handling of IT systems and possession of a category B driving license
