ABOUT THE POSITION:

The Retail Team plays a key role in addressing the central challenges within NielsenIQ. The Retail Team's task is the daily and closely connected support of all FMCG and T&D retailers within Switzerland. Every new cooperation with retailers opens up the opportunity to continuously expand our data base and fields of activity, whereby the Retail Team contributes significantly to NielsenIQ's growth. For this dedicated team, we are looking for a Junior Analytic Consultant to support us in Root in advising and supporting our retail clients.
YOUR FUTURE TASKS:
- You establish strategic partnerships with defined retailer clients and inspire them according to contractual agreements.
- You recognise and anticipate the needs of customers and promote customer loyalty and satisfaction through analytical insights and convincing presentations.
- You support both ad-hoc requests and recurring issues (reportings). In addition, you independently and efficiently prepare analyses and customer presentations in consultation with our experienced consultants.
- You take responsibility for daily operational business and efficiently process customer enquiries and orders as well as prepare strategic decisions.
- You work closely with the Retail Sales Team to identify and utilise growth potentials and support by sharing detailed customer information.
- You possess comprehensive knowledge of our tools and systems as well as the NielsenIQ product portfolio and continuously expand your expertise.
- You collaborate closely with all teams at NielsenIQ and optimally coordinate customer activities to the specific needs of the customers.
- Organising and coordinating customer projects also belong to your area of responsibility.
- You deepen your industry and customer know-how and are an expert for the FMCG & Non-Food retail panel and household panel.
YOUR PROFILE:
- You have successfully completed a bachelor's degree (economics or social sciences)
- Interest in retail, a good understanding of our customers' issues and the ambition to meet them excellently
- You enjoy communicating with various stakeholders and understand how to balance their priorities appropriately
- You have a quick grasp and a high willingness to learn.
- You are numerically inclined and can translate this into concrete statements and recommendations for our customers.
- You handle Excel and PowerPoint playfully and have a penchant for digital systems.
- Despite all the numbers and extensive workload, you work precisely and efficiently, even with repetitive tasks or during periods of high work volume.
- You have fluent German skills and good English skills.

The annual gross salary for this position ranges between 73,100 CHF and 90,900 CHF. The exact salary classification depends on relevant professional experience, qualifications, competencies and internal remuneration structures.
