For our client, an internationally active company in mechanical engineering, we are looking for an experienced individual as Head of Mechanical Manufacturing. In this versatile role, you combine profound expertise in machining with the leadership of a small production team. You ensure a smooth manufacturing process, support with technical queries, and simultaneously take an active role in CNC programming and the machining of demanding components.
- Ensuring a smooth and timely execution of manufacturing processes
- Planning, coordinating, and prioritising production orders considering quality, costs, and deadlines
- Monitoring production metrics and initiating optimisation measures in case of deviations
- Close collaboration with adjacent departments such as work preparation, logistics, and quality assurance
- Supporting senior management and taking on deputy responsibilities
- Active participation in the further development of processes, structures, and production methods
- Ensuring the availability of equipment, materials, and resources
- Promoting, training, and developing team members
- Several years of experience in production as well as leadership experience
- Professional experience in CNC manufacturing with solid knowledge in milling and/or turning
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial workflows
- Structured, solution-oriented, and independent working style
- Entrepreneurial thinking and interest in continuous improvement
- Strong communication skills and reliability
- Fluent German skills, additional languages advantageous

- Structured, solution-oriented, and independent working style
