Automation Technician EFZ 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

• Error analysis, diagnosis and repair of automated systems at the customer’s site?

• Configuration and commissioning of frequency converters (Siemens, Schneider, etc.)

• Data backup and restoration of control systems

• Participation in dismantling, assembly and modernisation of machines and systems

• Expert contact person for customers – to ensure maximum availability of the systems

• Recording and documentation of all performed activities

What do I need to be successful?

• Successfully completed vocational training as an Automation Technician EFZ with further education at a higher technical school (or equivalent qualification)

• Several years of practical experience in maintenance, servicing and troubleshooting of industrial machines and systems desirable

• Solid expertise in PLC programming (ideally Siemens TIA Portal) as well as handling frequency converters

• Strong customer orientation, solution-focused thinking and independent working style

• Flexibility for customer assignments throughout Switzerland (occasionally with overnight stays)

• Valid driving licence category B
