About Our Client

For our client, a leading pharmaceutical company specializing in the development of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) for small molecules, we are seeking a skilled professional. This innovative organization operates at the forefront of chemical and analytical development, translating research molecules into commercial APIs through cutting-edge technology platforms and collaborative scientific solutions.

Your Responsibilities

Develop and validate state-of-the-art analytical methods throughout the complete method lifecycle, utilizing qualified instruments and substances according to project specifications

Execute analytical experiments in compliance with GMP, HSE regulations and risk assessments, handling synthesis, development, supportive, release and stability samples

Support analytical experts by collecting and aggregating analytical data, performing process steering controls, cleaning verification/validation, and release testing activities

Document experimental work thoroughly using appropriate tools such as CIRF, eLN, following good documentation practices (GDP)

Maintain laboratory instruments and ensure GMP status compliance, with increasing responsibility for instrument ownership and qualification

Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including project leaders, analytics teams, and LSC teams in alignment with company values

Communicate proactively regarding critical issues and key topics to management and relevant project team members

Take on increasing project responsibilities from guided experimental work to fully independent analytical activities and documentation

Your Profile

• Education: Apprenticeship or MSc in chemistry or equivalent field with 2+ years of relevant experience
• Technical expertise: Proficiency in HPLC-UV (including method development), HS/direct-GC (including method development), Titration & Karl-Fischer (routine), HPLC-MS (routine), qNMR (advantageous)
• Software skills: Experience with CDS (ideally Chromeleon), MS Office, electronic lab notebook systems
• Language skills: German (oral) and English (oral, written) proficiency required
• Personal qualities: Strong task ownership, eagerness to learn and collaborate within analytical and project teams
• Industry background: Previous experience as analytical lab technician in pharmaceutical, chemical or food industry preferred; GMP experience would be a significant advantage
