Job Description

As a SAP Functional Architect, you are responsible for designing and defining solutions that meet the business needs of the company.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Lead the solution architecture across SAP and non-SAP components and collaborate with technical architects.
• Ensure the functional coherence of the solution, with an end-to-end process vision.
• Guarantee, facilitate and share the common iCAPtivate methodology, to which you will be trained, with all project stakeholders: functional team, technical team, client referents. iCAPtivate is Capgemini’s methodology inspired by SAP ACTIVATE, enriched with tools and our project feedback.
• Oversee the implementation of SAP ecosystem modules (SD, FI, CO, PP, ePPDS, EWM, EPM, etc.).
• Stay informed about the latest technological developments of SAP products to identify opportunities for business process transformation with SAP in connection with the SAP community in France and worldwide.
• Be a bearer of business and solution best practices (back to standard).
• Be the leader and guarantor of the built solution, acting as a relay for the steering team by contributing to the design authority committee, project committee, and sometimes the steering committee.
• Manage the end-to-end implementation of the solution with the help of your relays.
• Participate in pre-sales as an expert in end-to-end solutions.

Profiles

• Master integration flows and have experience with several SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, QM, PM, FICO, etc.) and/or integrated SAP and non-SAP solutions.
• Master project management processes and associated tools. (Tools such as JIRA, Tricentis suite, HP ALM, Signavio are a plus)
• Know SAP transformation offers and methodologies (RISE, Greenfield, Brownfield, Bluefield, etc.)
• Have an appetite for technological watch.
• Be comfortable in interactions and communication: ability to adapt to all types of interlocutors: business, technical, project management, whether Capgemini or among our clients and partners.
• Be a team leader.
• Have solid experience in managing complex projects, in Agile mode or distributed delivery;
• Have already led consultant teams and know how to manage projects with high technical and functional stakes (both with teams in France and offshore).
• You are fluent in French and English (spoken and written).
