Senior Electrical Technician

Main Tasks

You will be responsible for the preparation and supervision of signal and power cabling activities, including:
• Analyzing cable installation requests and liaising with requestors to obtain any missing information.
• Conducting on-site surveys/technical visits to prepare and plan cabling activities.
• Defining cable routes, preparing bills of quantities, and establishing quotations.
• Documenting new cable installations and modifications in the Organization’s cable database.
• Developing comprehensive technical documentation detailing the cabling work to be carried out by the Organization’s electrical installation contractor.
• Supervising the execution of the work performed by the Organization’s contractor, including daily progress reporting.
• Acting as the Works and Services Supervisor in compliance with the Organization’s Safety rules.
• Performing inspection and acceptance of completed work.

Required skills:

• At least 10 years of experience in electrical installation, including preparation and coordination of major cabling activities and worksite supervision.
• In-depth knowledge of signal and power cables, including types, connectors and installation procedures.
• Advanced level in English; knowledge of French is a plus.
• Proficiency in working with Excel.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to work both in the field and on technical documentation

Education:
A secondary degree, or high qualification, in the relevant field.
Electrical authorization: B0-B2V, BR, H0V
